MRI Registry Prep June 9 12- Help with preparing for MRI Registry.
COURSE OBJECTIVE :
*To Identify the major hardware components of an MR system.
*To understand the basic concepts of magnetism and ow they are aplied to tissues.
*To learn how an MR Signal is induced by means of exposure to a static and oscillating magnetic field.
*To understand how tissue relaxaton characteristics can be utilized to alter the MR images contrast
*To understand the basic differences between spin evco and inversion recovery sequences and how these sequences are utilized n acquiring images with various contrast characteristics.
*To learn how gradient echo sequences differ from spin echo and to learn how they may be utilized in MR.
*To understand the general concepts relating to MR data acquistion and how acquisition time is determined.
*To understand how the various imaging parameters affect MR image quality with regards to spatial resolution, contrast resolution and SNR.
We will send a hyperlink in your confirmation letter so you can print out a paper syllabus ahead of time and it has the pictures and an area for note taking for you.
This seminar will help you take the registry.
