Objectives
This seminar will provide the attendee with information which can be used to improve patient
care and MR image quality in their day-to-day clinical practice. MR Safety presentations will
cover basic safety concepts focusing on the ACR safe practice guidelines. Patient care topics will
cover managing adverse events following the injection of contrast media as well as updates on
managing the renally impaired patient. MR image quality topics will include detailed
information relating to optimizing pulse sequence parameters affecting SNR and image contrast.
An overview of MR imaging at 3 tesla will also be presented.
